Dennis Kucinich Honors Prayerline
Sister Mary Ann Lavelle, Director of the Cleveland-based Prayerline, was recently surprised to receive a phone call from the office of Congressman Dennis Kucinich. She was informed that the staff of Prayerline would be honored by the Congressman with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition.
The recognition is in response to the Prayerline's recent 30th anniversary.
She received the certificates by mail days later and has distributed them to her staff.
The Congressman, who was taught by several CSJs while in school, has been a long-time supporter of the Congregation. "We are honored by Congressman Kucinich's attention and thank him for his continued support of our program and the Congregation," said Sister Mary Ann.
